S.I.P.S Servicios Integrales de Protección Solar, was set up in 2001 as a result of joining other Trade Marks and firms with many years of experience in the Solar Protection Sector. It is set up as a Valencian Limited Cooperative Company and is directed by Mr. Félix Esteve Villanueva acting as chairman of the Executive Council.
The awning tradition was started by the constituent awning Trade Marks and firms approximately 30 years ago in a small workshop in a town called La Marina, in the Municipality of Elche. Since then it has gradually grown and expanded to set up new show rooms and a new factory with various annexes, which under this new name, manufactures all types of awnings, canopies, swimming pool covers/fabrics and other Solar Protection products which are produced with the latest technology and most advanced machinery in the sector.
We have a growing Sales Department that specialises in many areas, and deals with individual clients and professionals. Each client’s individual needs are studied in great detail in order to find the ideal solution. We have also set up new departments in charge of business sign and swimming pool cover manufacturing.
 We currently produce and install more than 4000 awnings a year; we can definitely double this figure as we are one of the strongest leading awning companies in Alicante. This means we can offer our clients the most competitive prices in the whole sector.
Our technical experts and installers all receive in house training so that their work and customer service philosophy makes us good candidates to become the leading awning company in terms of quality and service, something that we aspire to every day. At the moment we are in the process of implementing the ISO 9001 quality certificate.
WHAT TO BEAR IN MIND WHEN BUYING YOUR AWNING
Over the past few years many awning installers have taken advantage of the growing public demand for awnings and quick installation services.
The European Regulation from May, 2004 established that AWNING INSTALLATION companies must certify safety features in accordance with the European Regulation UNEEN 13561 that specifies the requirements for all awnings installed on buildings. This is obligatory and came into force on the 1st of March, 2006 and concerns the AWNING FEATURE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING SAFETY
THE EUROPEAN COMMITTEE FOR STANDARDISATION by means of the Official State Gazette states that it is THE COMPANY WHO INSTALLS the awning NOT THE MANUFACTURER who has to CERTIFY that it has been installed properly.
WHAT THE PURCHASER SHOULD KNOW IS:
- An INSTALLER must comply with the CURRENT REGULATIONS because sometimes problems do arise when the awnings are installed. NO INSURANCE COMPANY will cover UNCERTIFIED work, in accordance with the requirements of the current regulations.
- IT MUST BE THE OFFICIAL EXPERT INSTALLER, who has clear identification including relevant personal details, data on the Company and the corresponding installation and quality certificates.
- PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION: · Guarantees that they are all properly installed by means of the quality management system certificate UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 in accordance with the current Regulation UNE-EN 13561 with THE CE SIGN OF QUALITY.
·Issuing the physical awning guarantee.
·Provide after sales service.
·Toldos la Marina is at the disposal of its clients.
There is only one Awning Installation company that has the QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE ISO 9001:2000 in the whole of the Alicante Province, awarded on the 8th of May, 2006 and which is audited by Lloyd’s Register Quality for the Manufacture, Installation and Repair of awnings and Swimming Pool Covers with the CERTIFICATE NUMBER SG13050304, and that is why we label our awnings with the CE CERTIFIED SIGN OF QUALITY |
